George Clooney Thinks The Media Is Vilifying Duchess Meghan And It’s Becoming A Princess Diana Situation
In case you didn’t know from George and Amal Clooney cheesing it up at the royal wedding and his Kentucky cousin saying that he’d be a perfect godfather to the royal ginger American baby, the Clooneys are friends with the Duke and Duchess of Suckit. So while promoting his new Hulu series Catch-22 at the Winter TCA, Australian magazine WHO asked him if he’s going to be the godfather to Prince Hot Ginge and Duchess Meghan’s baby. George let out a, “No!“, before laughing and then crying while thinking about how if he was that baby’s godfather, he could somehow convince PHG and Meghan to name the kid Duke or Duchess Casamigos. George then got serious and called for the media to stop relentlessly dragging Duchess Meghan.
George brought up how Thomas Markle made every aspiring father of the year around the world say, “I want to be as wonderful of a father as him,” by selling a letter his daughter sent him to The Daily Mail. George spit at the choice to publish that letter and said that what the media is doing to Meghan is becoming a revival of the Princess Diana tragedy.
“I do want to say, they’re just chasing Meghan Markle everywhere, she’s been pursued and vilified.”
He continued, “She’s a woman who is seven months pregnant and she has been pursued and vilified and chased in the same way that Diana was and its history repeating itself.
“We’ve seen how that ends. I can’t tell you how frustrating that is, just seeing them broadcast a letter from a daughter to a father, she’s getting a raw deal there and I think it’s irresponsible and I’m surprised by that.”
“She’s getting a raw deal…” How cruel of George Clooney to remind me that lucky ass Meghan is getting a raw freckled ginger deal on the regular. DAMN HIM! So George has joined the army of Meghan’s friends in defending her, which begs the question, is the British press going to pull back or will the next headline we read say: “Samantha Markle Thinks George Clooney Is Having An Affair With Duchess Meghan And Her Baby Is Really His. Call Maury!” Yeah, probably the second one.
