Wendy Williams Is Reportedly Afraid She’s Going To Lose Her Show Amid All The Drama
Wendy Williams is going through it. First, she was sitting all the time during her show, then she was slurring from painkillers for a busted shoulder, and then she was yelling at ghosts on set, and making her friends highly nervous. Oh and her husband had maybe accidentally knocked up his alleged mistress. And Nick Cannon replaced her temporarily on her show as she was taking time off… and then more time off… So all in all it was a raging good time. S sadly for Wendy, Nick may have just found himself a new permanent gig, because it’s being reported that all this drama is making her nervous that she’s going to lose her show.
Page Six is reporting that sources are calling them up and letting them know that Wendy is in the danger zone. Apparently Wendy is “unsettled” by the success of her many stand-ins, and now she’s worried she won’t be able to “make it back on the air in time to save” her job. A source says:
“She’s super scared and anxious… Watching [fill-in host] Nick Cannon being a huge hit with her audience is tough for her. They’re already starting to mess with the format. It’s like watching them screw around with her baby.”
Oh yeah, can’t mess up that format. That’s what everyone is here for: Wendy’s tightly-run, succinct, educational format. Not all the shit-talking and celebrity nonsense, the format it comes in.
Nick was hosting the show for three days, Monday through Wednesday, and people loved him. Jason Biggs, who got famous for banging a pie in American Pie, also took a turn hosting on Thursday, and more guest hosts are booked all the way through to February 15th, including KeKe Palmer.
Even though Wendy is worried the execs over at her network will soon realize her job is so easy they could train a bear with a brain injury to do it, she is still not in any condition to get back on the air. A source says:
“She’s in no state to get back on TV anytime soon.”
There was no response from Wendy’s reps when asked for multiple comments.
Wendy, you better pop some ColdFX, chug some ginger-lemon tea, pop that shoulder back in place, bejewel your arm sling and put on your bestest wig, because you need to get back out there. Her own Instagram account doesn’t even have any pictures of her since January 10th and that was a screencap of a Variety article! …Oh girl… If she doesn’t pull herself together who will keep the wig industry of New York afloat? Drag Queens can’t do it alone! Truly the reverb effects of losing Wendy will be immense.
