Hot Slut Of The Day!

You know, I was going to make Steven Pesantez, the gold-hearted pigeon helper, in this clip today’s HSOTD, but then I realized that the real star and inspiration is the pigeon who made a human its bitch! NYC pigeons have a reputation for being SUCIO flying trash rats who would gladly eat a rotten piece of hamburger meat out of a dead hyena’s asshole (hey, many of God’s creatures need protein). But this pigeon proves that #NotAllNYCPigeons are uncouth trash eaters. Some are elegant and refined creatures, and you better treat them like the dignitaries they are!

Steven Pesantez and Mariel Mitkowski were at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal last Thursday when they noticed a pigeon just standing on a water fountain. Steven figured that the pigeon needed a helping hand, specifically a helping hand to turn on the damn fountain, so as Mariel filmed, he turned on the water and watched as the feathered ball of refinement delicately quenched its thirst while getting a facial (not that kind, you nasty trick!). After the clip made the rounds on Instagram, Gothamist interviewed Steven about the moment when he became the Fonzworth Bentley to the pigeon’s Diddy.

“The pigeon was just sitting there and he looked thirsty,” Pesantez recounted. “So I decided to get up and help the little guy.”

Mitkowski filmed the exchange, and Pesantez admitted, “I expected him to stay for a little bit but I didn’t expect him to start drinking!”

“It felt cool to help out the pigeon,” he said. “It was very zen.”

Watch as the pigeon politely stands there waiting for a human to make themselves useless FOR ONCE!

What a sweet, aww-inducing NYC moment. Even the pigeon was touched by Steven’s act of niceness, which is why the pigeon signaled to its pigeon gang members to call off their plan to jump Steven and steal his wallet. That’s what this was a set up for, right?
