A Video From 2010 Of Drake Kissing And Fondling A 17-Year-Old Girl Has Surfaced
In the wake of the truly cry-worthy, disturbing docu-series Surviving R. Kelly on Lifetime, everyone’s asking themselves, “Do some of these freaks get a microphone in their hand and just lose all morals and common sense?” This is why I don’t do karaoke.
A newly resurfaced video of Drake shows him kissing and fondling a 17-year-old girl from the audience at one of his shows. No wonder why he wears those sweaters, he’s (hopefully) punishing himself.
The Daily Beast’s report on the video sets the scene.
In the video, shot years ago, he is seen taking a break from performing, and welcomes a fan up on stage from the audience—a young woman.
Much to the delight of the audience, Drake begins kissing her and “lightly fondles” her chest. And then he asks her how old she is. She replies that she’s 17. And the crowd goes wild! Rule #1 everybody, get the age up front. Cheeee-rist.
“I can’t go to jail yet, man!” shouts Drake, to amused cheers from the crowd. “Why do you look like that?!” “Well look, I had fun,” he continues. “I don’t know whether I should feel guilty or not, but I had fun. I like the way your breasts feel against my chest. I just want to thank you.”
You figure most people save the “I like the way your breasts feel against my chest” line for when they’re in private in a consensual adults-type situation. Not Wheelchair Jimmy – he speaks his truth! And, despite finding out she’s 17, keeps on keeping on.
Drake then kisses her face several times again before bidding her adieu.
In the last couple of years, people finally figured out that sexual assault, molestation, and harassment is a problem in modern society *sigh* so you can imagine how this creepy vid is going over on social media.
The video, which was retweeted several thousand times, has received heavy backlash on Twitter. Writer and academic Eve Ewing wrote, “honestly this isn’t just about drake. people are not asking questions that should be asked. And it’s real easy to watch #SurvivingRKelly and say ‘why didn’t anyone xyz…’ but there’s a lot of folks hooting & hollering in this video.”
Here’s the part where we mention that Drake was apparently dating 18-year-old model Bella Harris last year whom he’s allegedly known since she was 16. And he also texts with 14-year-old Millie Bobby Brown from Stranger Things “about boys.” And hopefully Drake isn’t one of the “boys” in question in that situation.
