Toni Braxton And Birdman Have Broken Their Engagement

January 2, 2019 / Posted by:

Will Toni Braxton and Birdman, who’ve been engaged for 10 months, ever get around to getting married? Sadly, the answer is nevermore. Quoth the Birdman, “It’s Over”! That’s the final message Birdman posted to his Instagram account before wiping it clean. Couple that with Toni’s most recent post about starting her next chapter, and we’ve got a trail of breadcrumbs pointing directly at the engagement being off, and that the love birds have flown their separate ways.

Birdman’s “it’s over” message was left in an Instagram story which he subsequently deleted (via E!). His account is still active, only there are no posts. The only image we have is his profile pic which is an album cover for his collaboration with The Boy Who Would Be King of R&B, Jacquees.

Toni also wiped her Instagram account, leaving just one message for her fans as we head into the new year.

We don’t have many clues to go by in determining what went wrong between Toni and BM. But I can’t help but wonder if perhaps Toni wasn’t too thrilled when BM began showering Jacquees in fine jewelry when she’s the one who’s got the Tax Man to pay.

But as we know, Toni can’t be trusted with precious jewels. Remember what happened to Bonnie, the $5 million engagement ring BM gave her? In November she lost it on a Delta flight when she put it in her LV carry on and then left the carry on the plane. She eventually got the bag back, but her jewelry, including the ring, were missing. I hope Toni takes some financial intelligence classes before she floats all the way down that staircase into 2019.
