Kobe And Vanessa Bryant Are Expecting A Fourth Baby Girl
One of America’s most successful bag securers is about to add another 6-8 lb bundle to her already impressive collection. Vanessa Bryant and her Oscar-winning husband Kobe Bryant have just announced that they are expecting a baby girl who will join her sisters Natalia, 15, Gianna, 12, and Bianka, 2. I guess the Bryant’s aren’t satisfied with merely supporting young athletes with their Mamba Sports Academy, they want to grow their own damn WNBA team as well.
Vanessa, 36, and Kobe, 40, made the announcement on their Instagram pages, sharing the same photo with similar captions.
It’s assumed they will be having a girl because Kobe used the #mambacita. In case you are basketball impaired like me, you may be interested to learn that the nickname “The Black Mamba” was one that Kobe gave himself when he was going through some difficult times. Those difficulties included being charged with sexual assault in 2003 and him having to work extra hard to keep his marriage intact. What, have you not heard of diamond glue? It fixes everything. According to Business Insider:
Bryant went on to explain that “Kobe” was tasked with dealing with all his “personal challenges” and “The Black Mamba” handled business on the court.
So don’t worry, there’s nothing weird at all about him referring to his children as baby mambas! Nope, nothing creepy about it at all. Kobe also calls his daughters #daddysprincesses and in 2017 he said (via People):
“My friends say, ‘It takes a real man to make a boy.’ I’m like, ‘Dude, it takes a king to make a princess … get in line!’”
And here I thought it took sperm and eggs and an unbroken royal bloodline, or a fortuitous marriage, to make a princess, but I guess I was wrong. Turns out any spooge will do.
