Open Post: Hosted By The Giant Robot That Lady Gaga Rides In Her Vegas Residency

December 29, 2018 / Posted by:

Lady Gaga’s Las Vegas residency Enigma opened last night and it’s an enigma why she’s doing this? Justin Timberlake must be really looking down on her right now, and you know his opinion is always sought-after. Maybe it’s money? The insane amount of nutty outfits that she wears must cost a mint. And this robot must have, too. She might not even break even by the look of this the robot!

Here’s the robot:

Actually, scratch that, I just noticed there are dudes pushing it out and working the legs. Nevermind, it’s probably a lot cheaper than I thought.

Us Weekly reports that Gaga’s show’s storyline has her on the Planet Enigma trying to “find her inner voice.” She does a lot of flying over the stage in several different contraptions during the show, wears a lot of Nicola Formachetti bodysuits, plays a keytar, and sings the hits. There is also this breathless description that her PR firm totally didn’t write.

A source explained, “Gaga’s show is insane. It’s super high-energy and has a ton of innovative production elements. She’s going to kick ass and take names with this residency. Vegas hasn’t seen anything like this.”

If you really watch the video, the robot actually looks sorta janky from the waist down. It’s like they could afford the animatronics for the top part but then they ran out of time or money. Doesn’t she have A Star Is Born cash yet?

And here’s more clips of Gaga in various bootleg anime wigs while getting that Vegas money.
