Disney’s New “Jungle Cruise” Movie Has A Coming Out Scene In It

The new Jungle Cruise movie Disney will be cranking out in 2020 is showing us all how progressive the company is becoming by having a gay character in it… sort of. Kind of. Well, he comes out Disney-style.

TMZ is reporting that there was a screening of the movie last week and sources who were elite enough to screen a movie about being on a jungle boat ride with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the 1930s, had some words to say about it. Most notable of their revelations was the fact that the movie has a gay coming out scene in it.

Actor Jack Whitehall (pictured above holding The Rock’s huge snake) will be playing McGregor, who at one point in the movie comes out to The Rock’s Frank character, because who wouldn’t want to share their homosexual tendencies with a beefy, muscle mountain?

While this does seem like a big step for The Gays, it’s more like a small tip-toe for The Gays, because the movie never shows McGregor wading into the jungle brush to suck a random guy’s dick, nor does it actually say the word “gay”. What happens is: (*SPOILER ALERT* for this highly-thrilling movie about a family-friendly boat cruise) McGregor explains to Frank that his family has tried arranging marriages for him with some women, but he says he didn’t want them and actually doesn’t want “any” woman. Same, girl. He also says Emily Blunt‘s character is the only person in his family to accept and support him regardless of the “person” he loves. What a superfluous way of saying: “I’m Team Cockhound.”

Not only is this Disney, but the movie is set in the 1930s, when the word “gay” may not have met much to a straight. But Disney has handled this all wrong. They should’ve marketed The Jungle Cruise as a gay cruise movie starring The Rock. My gay dollars are hitting the screen just thinking about that.
