Sofia Vergara Wants Nick Loeb To Show Proof Of Residency In Louisiana For Their Frozen Embryo Case

Nick Loeb claims to live in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, a state where frozen embryos are given the same rights as fully formed human beings. Nick allegedly moved there so that his “babies” (whom he named Emma and Isabella) would be protected from his ex-fiance Sofia Vergara, who doesn’t want him to use the embryos they made together. They broke up over 3 years ago and she’s moved on. He will not. And they’ve been embroiled in a lawsuit over those popsicles ever since. Now, according to TMZ, Sofia has petitioned a judge to compel Nick to show proof that he’s actually living in Louisiana and developing a regional accent.

According to Nick’s Instagram account, he loves posting pictures of himself hard at work on the set of his Pro-Life movie Roe v. Wade, but does not enjoy posting pictures of himself getting busy on a delicious po’ boy or out fishing for redfish as many locals do. And Sofia thinks there’s a very good reason for that. She doesn’t think he really lives, or spends any time there, at all.

He hasn’t ponied up convincing evidence to support it … like grocery store receipts, or bank info from the area to show he’s got a life there. Sofia doesn’t say it outright, but it’s strongly implied she thinks he’s full of it, and wants a judge to compel him to hand over paperwork to her legal team.

TMZ says his lawyers claim he’s rented a house and is registered to vote in Plaquemines Parish, but they wouldn’t say how much time he actually spends there. They also say he set up trust funds for the little ones (and by “little” I mean you have to use a microscope to see them). It seems like it wouldn’t be that difficult to roll through the apartment and buy some gator jerky from the corner market if he’s really that concerned about his “kids“. Sofia’s theory that he’s in it for revenge and wants to break up her marriage holds more water that Nick’s leaky Cajun swamp boat.
