Bethenny Frankel Almost Died After An Allergic Reaction, And Her New Man Saved Her

Bethenny Frankel found a rather unconventional way to say she has a new boyfriend. The Real Housewives Of New York City OG has been spotted around Boston lately locking lips with Paul Bernon, this daddy of a real estate developer who also is a film producer. Those two have kept quiet on what it is they’re doing together, but Bethenny had a scary-sounding health scare involving a deadly fish allergy. Paul saved her, and Bethenny casually let slip that he’s her boyfriend.

People says Bethenny spent the weekend in a suburban Boston hospital after she had an almost-deadly reaction to fish that was apparently in some soup she ate. She lost consciousness for 15 minutes and wound up in the emergency room and ICU. Paul apparently called 911 and used an Epipen on her:

Some fan somehow told her to “Don’t forget you have a boyfriend too.” Rather than just ignoring it, Bethenny  acknowledged he was a thing by saying Paul saved her life. Awww it ain’t true love until they stab you with an Epipen and haul you off to the ER! Another source did say the whole ordeal was pretty spooky and that Bethenny almost died:

“It was that serious. Her blood pressure was through the roof and she was unconscious. She went into anaphylactic shock. Her boyfriend saved her life.”

It doesn’t sound like Bravo cameras were around to film the ordeal, but I’m sure we’ll hear about this next season on RHONYC. That being said, does Carole Radziwill have an alibi?!

And here’s a video of a shark continuing to defend Bethenny’s honor against fishkind by taking it out on a shark (yes, this video is old but just go with it):
