Christian Bale Says Donald Trump Thought He Was Bruce Wayne

I love how little kids still believe in Santa Claus. It is so endearing and sweet. But you know what isn’t though? Grown ass men who believe comic book characters are living, breathing people. Please show them to the nearest straitjacket suite with padded walls immediately. And while you’re rounding them up add YOUR president, Donald Trump, to the list for believing that Batman is real. Or in this case his alter ego Bruce Wayne.

Christian Bale, who’s portrayed Batman in three films, recounted a time where he met Don Cheeto during filming for The Dark Knight Rises at one of his many evil lairs, Trump Tower in New York City.  During a premiere event for his film Vice Christian was asked by Variety who should play Trump in a movie, and before he could reply with “An orange monkey in a wig,” he revealed the Bruce Wayne story. Christian states that during their conversation Trump spoke to him like he was indeed Bruce Wayne. Instead of correcting him, Christian went along with it while fighting the urge to throw on his sexy Marge Simpson in heat Batman voice and saying “You’re a dumbass”.

I can’t tell if Christian is joking or not but I kinda believe him. And not just because I think Trump is really a man baby with the IQ of a peanut. I believe him because none of this surprises me since Trump looks like The Joker, speaks in fluent gibberish like The Riddler and is rotund and crazy like The Penguin.
