NeNe Leakes Came For Her Cancer-Stricken Husband On Twitter
The self-proclaimed queen of Real Housewives of Atlanta (when she even bothers to be on the show) NeNe Leakes has been having some legitimate life drama. Her husband, Gregg Leakes, was diagnosed with cancer and she revealed the news back in June. Apparently part of dealing with this involves Greg being a world-class ass-hole to his wife, at least according to her. Because NeNe has been dragging her sick husband on Twitter. I guess it must be “trying to get a raise from Bravo for the new season” season.
NeNe posted to Twitter some messages where she came for her husband and what she believes is his rotten personality, tweeting:
I would just think ? if i have or had cancer, i would see life so differently! Not being mean, grouchy and evil for no real reason! But that’s me. Pray for me

If only we knew… I mean, I can kind of guess. I imagine if I was suffering from a potentially life-ending disease I may have more than a few extremely cranky days. Several in fact. Well, NeNe did not sign up for this, she wasn’t done calling Greg out for being “grouchy” so she found one of his posts on Instagram and commented on it. She did delete her comment, but not before The Shade Room could screenshot it:
NeNe had spoke with People previously about Gregg’s cancer and she didn’t sound super sympathetic back then either:
“It’s very, very hard to be a caretaker… People call and they say, ‘How’s Gregg doing?’ and I want to throw the phone and say, ‘How the fuck am I doing? I’m going crazy over here, Gregg is wearing me out!’ I am not good at this shit! I would rather hire somebody. Gregg doesn’t wants me to hire somebody, but I’m just not good. I’m not good at fluffing the pillow; I’m good at buying the pillow.”
Don’t put that in a Hallmark Card… But before we all jump up and get NeNe a ticket on the “Heartless Bitch” train, Gregg has defended his wife, putting up some nice comments about her on Instagram and explaining that she’s not totally wrong:
So there you have it, Gregg is not mad that NeNe is mad at Gregg for being a grouch. I’m sure NeNe was just venting, and doing what any professional attention whore would do: vent those frustrations on Twitter. Maybe that wasn’t the best idea, but this is 2018 and her Real Housewives storyline may need beefing up; what else is she gonna do?
