Open Post: Hosted By Jameela Jamil Continuing To Troll Celebrity Detox Tea Pushers

November 28, 2018 / Posted by:

Jameela Jamil from The Good Place is still on a mission to call out celebrities who shamelessly push liquid laxatives disguised as detox tea on Instagram for a check. Jameela took aim at Cardi B last week for claiming that detox tea was partly responsible for dropping her baby weight. Jameela hoped that any famous person who pushes detox tea or diet shakes will shit their pants in public (Cardi joked she’d never shit her pants in public, because there’s always a bush or two around).

Jameela isn’t done dragging the flat tummy tea sellers.

ameela posted a parody video to Twitter of her promoting her own little detox drink. Jameela – who clearly did her research with that flavorless “Hi you guys” opening – jokes that she’s been drinking her supermodel shake for three days and lost 35 pounds. In between jokes about never working out a day in her life are some wet fart sound effects. Eventually, this leads Jameela to the toilet to violently shit.

I can see this backfiring on Jameela in two ways. One, every detox tea and tummy shake company out there is about to send Jameela a box of plastic tumblers. As if any self-respecting Instagram influencer would drink their laxative sludge out of a basic unbranded glass! Two, as long as Jameela keeps talking about poo, those detox tea and shake companies might as well just embrace it. Like by releasing a pair of shapewear that prevents butt leakage. “#ad Never run to the bathroom with the runs again! Teami introduces Pooyu, the underwear that securely holds in your detox dumps!
