Heather Locklear Has Been Placed On Another 5150 Hold

The optimist in me was confident that we’d close out 2018 without any more stories featuring Heather Locklear, the authorities, phone calls to 911, and stressed-out family members. It seemed as though Heather was getting help and on her way to doing better. But TMZ that Heather has been put on a psychiatric hold after her therapist and lawyer realized she needed some serious help. Heather was reportedly at her home on Sunday when someone (it’s not known who) called 911 and paramedics showed up.

Heather was taken to a hospital and checked in under a 5150 hold, which means she could be held involuntarily for up to 72 hours. Heather was taken to a hospital for a psych evaluation back in June, after she allegedly pulled a gun and threatened to use it on herself, allegedly choked her mom and hit her dad.

According to The Daily Mail, Heather’s trigger had something to do with her boyfriend; they claim she got violent on him. In Touch claims the incident happened around 5pm yesterday, and that it involved Heather throwing the man out of her house. Radar Online says that her boyfriend was the one who made the 911 call. It’s not known if we’re dealing with Chris Heisser, the same boyfriend that Heather got into it with in February that led to her arrested.

However, TMZ’s sources say it had nothing to do with Heather’s boyfriend, and that he wasn’t even present at her home yesterday. The sources say the 911 call was made due to an ongoing mental health situation. No crime was committed, and it’s not known if alcohol was involved. The call was reportedly placed as a safety precaution.

TMZ has no new details on Heather’s psychiatric hold, like how long she’ll be held for and if she’s still in the hospital. Let’s just hope that this time, whatever work is done sticks, and Heather can resume life in a healthy way. Mostly because she deserves to get well. But also because a healthy Heather means more quality Instagram content like not-subtle dick jokes.
