Not So Fast On Lisa Vanderpump Quitting “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills”
It ain’t over ‘til the rosé lady sings or slaps Kyle Richards. It seems like it was just yesterday (or Wednesday) that we heard that Lisa Vanderpump had enough of her shrill costars on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills and was going to stick to her shrill costars on Vanderpump Rules. Sources began to walk that story back, and Lisa has finally stepped forward to tell Kyle it won’t be that easy to get a pay raise.
Entertainment Tonight caught up with Lisa at her Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala last night (pics below), and I mainly wondered where Giggy was. But ET’s Brian Sander wanted to know all about WTF is going on with the casting and if she’s really going to subject us to future seasons where the most exciting thing to happen is the Richards sisters bickering and Erika Jayne performing for the 800th time at White Party. Actually, that doesn’t sound so bad. Alas, Lisa says she isn’t out:
“I haven’t said anything for two months. Now, everybody’s been talking about this. I’ve just been going about my business and doing my things. I am in the show. I have not quit, and if I did quit, it wouldn’t just be a leaked story. I would be upfront, and I have a lot of loyalty to the production company and the network.”
That’s a fun way to say, “Bravo will pay me to do an entire season of eating chocolates and sipping wine from afar if I so please!” Lisa did admit it’s been a rough year, alluding to whatever the hell happened with her costars along with losing her brother earlier this year:
“But it has been a difficult season… But it’s been a difficult year for me personally, and the season was very challenging. So I’m in a lot of it, but there are some parts I skip, and I think people have seen that.”
As y’all know, people kinda thought something was up when Lisa wasn’t at St. Camille Grammer’s wedding or wasn’t seen in public with any of the other women when cameras were around. Lisa says people need to pay less attention to those hags and focus on what matters: wildfire rescue, puppy rescue, and continuing to fill her bank account by making reservations at Sur, Villa Blanca, and that other one she has on OpenTable! OK, maybe she didn’t say the last part, but she totally meant it.
