Michael Avenatti Was Arrested And Released On Bail For Felony Domestic Violence

Michael Avanatti, full of hubris and wielding a huge power boner, has flown too close to the sun and, allegedly, punched it in the face. Avanatti The Got Caughtti (I’m grieving, cut me some slack!) was arrested for felony domestic abuse on Wednesday. According to TMZ, Michael is accused of laying hands on a woman on Tuesday, and was arrested on Wednesday after his alleged victim (who is not his estranged wife, as was originally reported) caused a scene in front of a luxury apartment complex in the Century City neighborhood in Los Angeles.

TMZ reports that the Tuesday incident occurred after Michael kicked the woman out of an apartment (it’s unclear who owns it) and that she was back there on Wednesday to collect her belongings:

We’re told Wednesday afternoon the woman was on the sidewalk on her cellphone with sunglasses covering her eyes, sobbing and screaming on the phone, “I can’t believe you did this to me. I’m going to get a restraining order against you.”

We’re told security brought her inside the building, took her upstairs and Michael showed up 5 minutes later and ran into the building. He screamed repeatedly, “She hit me first.” We’re told he angrily added, “This is bullshit, this is fucking bullshit.”  We’re told he tried getting into the elevator but security denied him access.

The cops were called and Michael was arrested and later booked on felony domestic battery charges. He has since been released on $50,000 bail and held a press conference (natch) denying any wrongdoing (natch), is looking forward to a full investigation (natch), and implying the charges are fabricated as a means of intimidating him (natch!). Here’s his statement:

Michael’s estranged wife, Lisa Storie-Avenatti, has released a statement in support of him, claiming that she’s never known him to be violent towards anybody and that he was never abusive to her. Michael’s ex-wife, Christine Avenatti-Carlin has also said the same in a statement, and added that he “is a very good man”. Stormy Daniels, Michael’s highest profile client who has also been arrested since she began her crusade to nail Trump’s mushroom balls to the wall, issued her own statement claiming that she is “reserving judgement” but that if the allegation proves true she will seek new representation.

Whatever happens with the investigation, Michael will never be my hottie again. That ship sailed when he first started grumbling about running for president, which is a HUGE turnoff.
