Shots Were Fired On The Set Of A 6ix9ine/Kanye West/Nicki Minaj Video
TMZ is reporting that shots were fired at a Beverly Hills house on Thursday night that was serving as a set for a video shoot featuring 6ix9ine (aka Tekashi69), Kanye West, and Nicki Minaj. No one was hurt. 6ix9ine and Kanye were supposedly on set, but Nicki wasn’t. This was a lucky move on someone’s part because one of the bullets allegedly ended up in what was going to be Nicki’s dressing room. Yikes.
TMZ got a hold of some surveillance tape which shows two cars pulling up in front of the house’s gate. Two dudes get out. They chat for a little while after realizing they can’t get through the gate, then they start firing.
I can’t be the only person who hopes to never hear the sound of a gunshot ever again at this time in history, right?
They look for a few seconds for their target and then fire a barrage of shots over the wall. Both appear to be men … you hear male voices. One appears to say “We got 30 seconds,” and the other responds “Ok,” just before they begin firing.
They scramble back inside their respective cars. One car — a light-colored sedan — speeds off. It looks like the second car backs up and presumably makes a U-turn.
Us Weekly also had some details.
The department’s watch commander tells Us that authorities received a call at approximately 10:25 p.m. PT about a shooting inside a Beverly Hills mansion. No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made yet in the ongoing investigation.
As for Nicki’s dressing room, TMZ claims that it was one of the biggest rooms in the house and no ass jokes just for today.
Sources close to the production tell TMZ … at least one bullet pierced the window Thursday night on the master bedroom. As it’s the biggest one in the Beverly Hills mansion, it was supposed to be the room where Nicki and her crew chilled during the music vid production.
TMZ claims that the room was originally intended for the rainbow-mouthed, admitted underage sex offender, apparently very pistol-whippable rapper 6ix9ine.
We’re told the original plan was for 6ix9ine to be in that room, but he decided the day before Nicki should have it. That’s interesting because if the shooter had inside information from the set, they might have aimed at that room targeting Tekashi.
As for Kanye, he managed not to try and capture the gunmen by boring or confusing them into unconsciousness with one of his MAGA rants. He’s said to have left the set right after the shooting. Expect a Twitter rant from him about the haters, the LAPD, 6ix9ine’s teeth, Nicki not being there, the Constitution, etc…etc… sometime this weekend.
