Duchess Kate Wore A Fancy Tiara While Duchess Meghan Had To Leave An Event Early Because Of Security Concerns
A Tale of Two Duchesses: Duchess Meghan sweats it out in humid ass Fiji while Duchess Kate struts around in Princess Diana’s favorite tiara. Hey, that hardly seems fair!
More famous people need to start rolling through Fiji because apparently, they are thirsty as hell for celebrity sightings. Continuing her whirlwind tour of the Down Under colonies, Dutchess Meghan, sans Harry, visited the Suva Market, Fiji’s biggest market which is located in the nation’s capital, but her visit had to be cut short due to security concerns.
According to News.com.au, The Double Dutch Duchess had to be rushed to her car after a crowd of looky-loos started to make security nervous. She was making the rounds at the market, talking with some of the vendors when the heat, humidity and crush of humanity became too much, and her security team decided to nip that shit in the bud. Some of the vendors reported that Meghan was acting listless and not her usual bubbly self. Not for nothing, the weather in Suva was about 80 degrees with 90% humidity. The visit was scheduled to last 20 minutes but Meghan left after just 6.
Pictures showed members of the security team and local authorities looking flustered as they quickly guided Meghan out.
The Duchess gave an apologetic wave to her fans as she was escorted out, brushing her fringe out of her face.
Kensington Palace later claimed Meghan’s sudden exit was due to a “security risk”.

Being bum rushed by adoring fans overseas is basically Lindsay Lohan’s dream come true, but Meghan was probably more than happy to report for duty in the backseat of her air conditioned town car.
Meanwhile back in Jolly Old England, The Duchess of Cambridge had a manservant fill out a requisition form in triplicate and deliver the Cambridge Lover’s Knot (which sounds like something you could order from a Shoreditch Little Caesars), a tiara favored by Princess Diana, to her bedchambers. According to Page Six, Kate wore the iconic piece to a state banquet at Buckingham Palace paired with a blue Alexander McQueen gown. Here’s a fun fact: The long-sleeved, loose fitting dress Meghan more at the Suva market was reportedly chosen to help reduce the risk of contracting the Zika virus!
Here’s Kate in the Lover’s Knot tiara. I would eat a bag of Zika infused dicks for the opportunity to wear it, just once. Yes, I’m a grown ass American woman who loves me a tiara. Sue me.

And here’s Diana wearing my crown.
Kate’s worn it before. As have many of the royals. According to Town and Country:
The piece of jewelry Kate wears was created for Queen Mary in 1914 by the House of Garrand from pearls and diamonds already owned by her family.

🇬🇧 I really like it when something is passed down for generations like you with this tiara (Cambridge Lovers Knot Tiara) It was worn by Queen Mary (Queen Elizabeth's grandmother), the Queen herself, Princess Diana and Duchess Kate. 😍 #queenmary#royaltiara#tiara#britishroyals#Britishroyalfamily#queenelizabeth#hermajesty#thequeen#queenelizabethii#queen#hmthequeen#hmqueenelizabeth#hermajestyqueenelizabeth#peoplesprincess#queenofhearts#candleinthewind#ladydi#ladydiana#princessdiana#princessdi#dianaprincessofwales#dianaspencer#katemiddleton#duchessofcambridge#duchesskate#catherinemiddleton#princesskate#duchesscatherine#kolagemaidbaimi#cambridgeloversknottiara
Don’t worry Meghan, we’ll both get our grubby little commoner hands on that thing one day, one way or another!
