Jenelle Evans Of “Teen Mom” Was Taken To The Hospital After An Alleged Fight At Her Home
If you have any familiarity with Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans, then you know that she’s one of the messier cast members, and that often her messes are somewhat entertaining (getting into screaming matches with her mom Barbara, for example). But Jenelle recently got into a far less enjoyable situation at her house that allegedly ended with the police being called and a trip to the hospital.
According to UsWeekly, 26-year-old Jenelle was taken to a North Carolina hospital on Saturday after an altercation at the home Jenelle shares with her husband David Eason and their five children. The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office tells UsWeekly that a woman called 911 shortly before 10pm on Saturday about an alleged assault that happened (the caller might have been Jenelle, but it’s not known). An ambulance was requested for Jenelle, but was later canceled. Jenelle was later taken to the hospital in a private car. Police allegedly advised Jenelle on the legal action she could take before she was brought to the hospital, but she declined and refused to press any charges. According to the reality TV blog The Ashley, MTV’s crews weren’t filming at the time, but Jenelle filmed the following day with her mother.
Sources also tell The Ashley that the alleged dispute involved Jenelle and David. MTV’s cameras might not have been present at the time because David was fired from Teen Mom 2 earlier this year after posting a bunch of homophobic tweets.
Jenelle hasn’t said anything about this alleged domestic situation. Her twitter account is currently drawing a blank, but she’s been posting on Instagram since the incident. On Saturday, the day she was reportedly rushed to the hospital following the alleged fight, she posted this picture of herself recovering from sinus surgery. So if you ask Jenelle if she was in the hospital, she might say it was for her sinuses. And she might also say that things are a-ok with David.
If the reports are true that it was a domestic situation, then I wouldn’t be surprised if MTV decided to develop a spin-off for Jenelle in which she tries to find a partner that isn’t so much of a raging abusive asshole. Even if the reports are not true and Jenelle and David are fine, MTV should still keep that spin-off in their back pocket.
