Juicy Joe Is Getting Deported To Italy After Prison

Just when you thought the return of Danielle Staub would be the messiest thing to happen on Real Housewives Of New Jersey, the Giudice family STILL manages to bellow out, “Uhhh…hold my beer.” Joe and Teresa Giudice wowed us all from the very first season with their classy penchant for Ed Hardy T-shirts and ability to tell their interior decorator, “We want onyx and marble EVERYWHERE!” The IRS was equally as wowed and handed their asses prison sentences for bankruptcy fraud and tax evasion. While Teresa served her time and is back on Bravo (because duh), Joe is still in prison, and there has been the question of whether he would get deported back to Italy since he’s not a U.S. citizen. That was answered today because a judge has ruled he better have enjoyed reading Eat, Pray, Love because he’ll be forced to live in the “Eat” portion as soon as he’s released.

Radar says a judge in immigration court ruled earlier today what Juicy Joe claimed earlier this summer would never happen: he has to be deported back to Italy. Judge John Ellington told Joe via teleconference his ruling:

“Based upon the law, I find you deportable and ineligible for any kind of relief. Mr. Giudice, no matter how this turns out, I wish you the best. I decided this case as a matter of law.”

Joe didn’t handle the news all that well and is said to have been very emotional and even tried to appeal his case since:

“I don’t understand how I can be deported on this case. If you will, I’ll tell you my side. I shouldn’t even be here right now.I have to go back and tell my kids this, and they’ve been waiting to hear from me.”

TMZ said Joe is halfway through his 41-month sentence and initially reminded people that Teresa said at the last Real Housewives reunion that Italy is a beautiful place to live and hinted at moving her family there if her husband got deported.

TMZ is also reporting that shortly before Joe went to the slammer in 2016, Teresa reached out to Trump since he was running for president and asked him to write a character letter on her behalf since she got along with Trump when she was on the fifth season of Celebrity Apprentice. Trump’s people got back to Teresa to basically say, “Hard pass…but good luck,” which is pretty cold considering the messes they DO try to help out.

TMZ now says Teresa is staying put in Jersey, because their four daughters have never lived in Italy and have no friends there, so it wouldn’t be fair to uproot their lives. The girls have made a ton of new friends at their new school, and the story goes that none of them have visited Joe in the slammer for a while. Cheer up, Joe! You’ll likely only be over there for two…maybe three years tops. That’s plenty of time to have an Italian fling before Andy Cohen sponsors a visa for you to create a good “he’s baaaack!” plot line for season 834589763 of RHONJ!
