Ben Affleck And Shauna Sexton Went To Montana Together
I’ve never completed a 40-day stint in rehab and officially gotten divorced in the same month, so I don’t know how I would celebrate such a milestone. If I was Ben Affleck, I might roll up to Jack In The Box with balloons and let the employees know that for the rest of the day, all drive-thru orders were on me. But Ben Affleck had other plans. Shauna Sexton and Ben are still going strong and spent the weekend in Montana.
While 46-year-old Ben was in rehab, it was reported that many people around him told him to put the brakes on his relationship with 22-year-old Playboy model Shauna. Shauna was known to visit Ben while he was in rehab, and this weekend they got alone time away from counselors and coaches and group therapy sessions. The only therapy Ben needed this weekend was nature and deer.
Yesterday Shauna posted a picture of herself holding a fish in Big Sky, Montana.
A peek at her Instagram Stories shows a few videos of rivers, forests, mountains, a waterfall, fishing (all very A River Runs Through It). Tucked between those was a picture taken from inside of a vehicle featuring what appears to be Ben staring at a deer. I’m pointing out the deer on purpose, because if I didn’t, you might be too focused on Ben’s grey sweatpants to notice anything else.
Big Sky, Montana is one of Ben’s favorite places; UsWeekly says he’s spent the past three Christmases there with Jennifer Garner and their three kids.
A more current Instagram Story showed a plane ride back to Los Angeles, which would lead me to believe their time in Big Sky country was just a weekend trip. But I’m still haunted by that image of Ben staring at that deer. What they connected over is unknown. I bet they bonded over a mutual respect for his 2000 film Reindeer Games. “Bro, seriously, my favorite movie with the word deer in the title, for real. Go Pats!”
