Julie Chen Has Announced That She’s Ditching “The Talk”

Well, that didn’t take long. In all the fallout from Les Moonves stepping down as head of CBS, many were wondering what would happen to his wife Julie Chen, who awkwardly holds multiple hosting gigs thanks to her bed buddy, er, natural talent. While the Big Brother house is the best spot for Julie since, like evening hosts on Fox News, they don’t have a clue about what’s happening in the real world, her post as moderator on The Talk seemed in jeopardy since it seemed like her co-hosts supported her…but not so much her man. Julie Chen Moonves solved that one because she announced she’s done with The Talk in a recorded message that aired at the end of today’s show.

Yesterday, Page Six reported that Julie must figure Les is eventually going to get that CBS $120 million payout because she made the decision to leave the kindler and gentler The View. A snitch also said she’s “100% staying with Les.The Hollywood Reporter said her leave is effective immediately. In The Chenbot’s taped message, which was shot on the set of Big Brother, she said she needs to spend more time with Les and their son, and then nearly malfunctioned as she brought the emotions while talking about her co-hosts: Eve, Sheryl Underwood, Sara Gilbert, and Sharon Osbourne. The Chenbot is seriously ride-or-die for Sleazy Les or at the end of this goodbye video, she would’ve ran into the Big Brother house, locked herself in and refused to come out.

While she may no longer be around to talk about plastic surgery on her The View knockoff, Big Brother goes until September 26. She’s expected to stay on as host of that show at least until its finale since a CBS without the Chenbot is like a CBS without at least three different versions of NCIS.
