This little girl is proof of two things. The first is that some people have so much dancing energy inside them that they can dance to any sort of music whether it’s danceable to or not. Secondly, it’s funny what little kids can find fun when they don’t have the context. Props to her parents for not teaching her to be TERRIFIED of large men in masks with carving knives.
Twitter user BadassKimberly tweeted this clip of a little girl dancing joyously to the theme from Halloween directly in front of a mannequin of Jamie Lee Curtis’ arch-enemy Michael Meyers. He’s even holding a knife. But this adorable harbinger of fall doesn’t care. No unkillable serial monster holding kitchen weaponry can ever hope to dull the bright light of her dancing.
Mashable reports that this clip has had 8 million views so far. There’s a reboot of Halloween coming out next month and even the producers have seen this and loved it.

Wait. You don’t think this was some extremely shifty and successful attempt at guerilla marketing, do you? Ever since Kimmel popped up when that girl set herself on fire twerking, you can’t trust a damn thing. Kudos if so, but the innocence is officially up and gone if this is a secret ad and the reboot’s co-writer Danny McBride is standing off-camera urging her to keep dancing.
