Bobby Brown’s Sister Hated His BET Biopic
The Bobby Brown Story aired on BET this week, marking the moment in history when a movie was released which is worse than Glitter. (Note from Michael: Yes, I wrote Kristian up for shitting on the masterpiece that is Glitter like that!) The two-part “miniseries” as it’s being called, was pretty much panned by anyone who bothered to watch it, and the consensus was that it’s the film equivalent of Jersey Shore: highly-watchable trash. But you know who hated it the most? Leolah Brown Muhammad, the sister of the titular Bobby Brown.
People is reporting that Leolah went ballistic on Facebook Wednesday night, tearing into the piece of dramatic art and pointing out all of it’s many flaws.
“THE FAKEST MOVIE I EVER SEEN!” was one of her all-caps sentiments, in a plethora, and I mean plethora, of commentary. But what was the reason Leolah was so angry? Was it because Bobby didn’t manage to cast Beyoncé to play her in the movie? Actually it’s not even about her at all, it’s about that lady up in the picture next to Bobby, his wife, Alicia Etheredge. Leolah hates her.
“THAT IS NOT ALICIA!” Leolah shouted at her television/typed into her computer, furious at the false portrayal. And she continued saying more:
“Paleeeeeeeez! Spare me that laugh! Such a liar! I’m wondering what is the motive for all this? I read well though… and trust I’m not dumb! Listen, Alicia if you think for one minute that you are going to kill my brother and get away with it guess what? All I can say is you better stay prayed up!”
Not sure what Leolah is referencing here, but this is hostile and if I were Alicia I would do as she says and remain “prayed up”. Leolah was not finished by a long shot.
“Bobby why did you let Alicia lie like that in that movie and say she welcomed your whole family into her life!!!???… And this bitch literally without a little exaggeration hates for absolutely no reason every single person that carries your blood!!!!??? Aaaaaaand she wouldn’t even allow you to give your own mother $17.00 dam dollars to pay for your mothers medicine she needed at the dam pharmacy?!”
Damn. Are you seeing how many question and exclamation marks she is using?! Leolah is pessed. And she continued by suggesting that Alicia comes from the same place as Kris Jenner: the Seventh Circle of Hell:
“Are you kidding me! Hell no I’m not shutting up! You know this bitch turns her nose up at any and every damn body that dam knows you…. Family first!! Bobby why are you all lying for her!???? She’s evil! You are sleeping with the devil!”
And just in case this wasn’t enough for you, Leolah also had some words about Bobby’s daughter Bobbi Kristina and how she apparently hated Alicia also:
“Yes she did hate her because EVERY SINGLE TIME She wanted to spend time with her father after her mother passed.. Alicia would not let it happen without her there!… This movie is full of shit Krissy hates Alicia.”
