Kanye West Waves White Flag In Drake Spat
If you’ve listened to much Drake lately, it wasn’t exactly hard to figure out something had been irking Wheelchair Jimmy, er, Champagne Papi about Kanye West. We told you yesterday that the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drews of Twitter think Drake is singing about good neighbor-boning Kim Kardashian in “In My Feelings,” which she has denied. He also is said to have a line in an upcoming track with French Montana that goes, “I told her don’t wear no 350s around me.” Fucking Kim is one thing, but shitting on Yeezys is just playing dirty, Drake! Kanye appears to agree and has issued an apology to try and settle shit.
Complex says Kanye fired off his usual blast of stream of conscious tweets today, and it was all about saying “sowwy” to Drake and also giving us a play-by-play of his airplane’s progress. I’ll give you the, er, best of:
Sending good energy and love to Drake and family and crew???
I haven’t seen the show in person but the images look incredible online
I understand where the confusion started pic.twitter.com/oxSEEbNB1g

Let me start by apologizing for stepping on your release date in the first place … We were building a bond and working on music together including squashing the issues with Cudi at our office.
— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) September 5, 2018
When I put the dates up I was a bit ramped up doing 25 tweets a day TMZ happened shortly after … I have to hop on the plane now… will type more when I land

plane taxiing for take off… because we spoke about doing Lift Yourself together I should have given you the opportunity for us to do this together before I released it
— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) September 5, 2018
since we were building as friends and brothers I should have spoken to Pusha about the Quentin Miller bar. There should have been no songs with my involvement that had any negative energy towards you
— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) September 5, 2018
I never listened to either diss track that followed but I did hear quotes from both songs after they were released
— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) September 5, 2018
I did not have any conversations about your child with Pusha. I don’t play with the idea of people’s children after I spoke to Wiz a few years earlier.

This is all Jedi level. I will be coming to your show within the next seven days to give love and be inspired by the art you have created.

If it’s all Jedi level, why is he even bothering to let Drake know when he is going to come to his concert? Shouldn’t they all know the date by now thanks to the Force? Spend less time on PornHub, Ye, and more time in the Lucasfilm vault! Anyway, it sounds like Kanye gave Drake a lot of grief during the era of his TMZ/shit-nobody-should-ever-say-about-slavery meltdown, including releasing “Lift Yourself” by himself instead of doing it together like they had talked about . Kanye also produced Pusha T’s diss track about Drake that accused him of using ghostwriters and also casually mentioned he had a son, which many think is why Drake has been going ham on Kanye as of late – including rapping at a concert he was a big ol’ flop.
Well, crank up the Dido because Kanye waving a white flag apologizing and claims he never heard the diss tracks, which I actually believe since Pimp Mama Kris probably was up to her usual shit and produced it herself to keep the Kanye branch of the Kardashian Death Star up to ratings snuff. Rolling Stone says things got so bad before Kanye’s tweets today that Drake was even working on a “career-ender” of a diss track about Yeezy. Now, now, Drake. No need to go about that. TMZ and Jimmy Kimmel have already done that for you – several times over!
