Miranda Lambert’s Newly Divorced Boyfriend Got Dumped For Breaking Her Rules

“Honey, can you take off your wedding ring and also let everyone you know that we got divorced, and it’s finalized, thank you, dear,” was uttered by millions of wives everywhere after we all learned that Miranda Lambert is single and ready to mingle with some taken pieces. Oh, naive wives, this is Miranda Lambert we’re talking about. She’s a pro. Ring or not, she knows a dude is married because she can sniff out his “haven’t had sex since my wedding night” scent.

Miranda announced she was done with Evan Felker not long after it was reported that his divorce from Staci Felker had been finalized. So Evan lost a wife, who is apparently not looking to take his skeezer ass back, and a multi-millionaire country star girlfriend who is so not going to put him on one of her tours again, and a source tells People it’s because he broke one of her rules. No, the rule wasn’t: Have a wife.

Miranda apparently laid down a set of rules when she and Evan first got together in February, and he broke one or more, so she put him on the curb.

“I don’t think it was a dramatic split, but he knew what he was ‘allowed’ to do based on her rules and he broke them. He did something that he knew she wasn’t going to approve of, she assumed he did it and he didn’t deny it.”

As for what rule or rules Evan broke, Star Magazine said that Miranda made it clear to Evan that if he has contact of any kind with his wife Staci, she’d fire him as her boyfriend and her opening act. Staci claimed last month on Instagram that while she was on vacation in Belize, Evan called her several times and they talked. Staci ended up getting sick with something that wasn’t malaria, and she wanted to talk to Evan about it, but instead she got Ghost 2: Electric Ghostaloo. Staci also believed that Miranda was mad about Evan talking to her and was blowing up her phone by repeatedly calling from a blocked number.

Let’s just assume that Star Magazine is right, which I’m sure they are since they’re a literary pillar of potent facts, and Miranda’s rule was that Evan wasn’t allowed to talk to his wife. Then this is just embarrassing and sad. Evan left Staci for Miranda, and I’m guessing two of the reasons why he did that is because Miranda is rich and has the power to get him more gigs. And he may have screwed that up by breaking one simple rule? I used to think that there’s nothing sadder than a failed gold digger, but I stand corrected. There is something sadder than a failed gold digger and it’s a lying, cheating failed gold digger.
