Don’t Expect Christina Aguilera To Be In A Dual-Celebrity Relationship
While Bentina might sound like a street drug purchased under a downtown overpass, it also could have been the name of a Ben Affleck and Christina Aguilera pairing when celebrity magazine editors are phoning it in from their summer house and randomly mashing up famous people because they’d rather be focusing on which rosé to drink this afternoon. Well, just know if you ever see a magazine trying to link Christina with another famous person, it’s a huge lie because she doesn’t get a lady boner around celebrity tricks. Xtina says she should be the only famous one in the relationship!
Cosmopolitan has Christina on its October issue (magazines operate on a Roadrunner calendar, I guess), and it mainly focuses on how she’s been rocking an expensive-ass look to make it seem like she isn’t wearing any makeup. She also reflects on how back in the Stripped day, she was known for being the bad girl to Britney Spears’ angelic persona…lol:
“It’s hard to hear yourself being called names. I remember being hurt by these commercials on MTV, pitting Britney as the good girl and me as the bad girl. It’s like, if I’m going to be demure and innocent, that’s okay. But if I’m going to just be myself, I’m trouble.”
Christina may be trouble when herself, but she’s apparently also so famous that she doesn’t need her other half to be. Actors and singers, take a seat! Xtina only gets hot and bothered by the hot cashier and Home Depot (don’t we all):
“I’ve had opportunities, but it isn’t my style to date another person in the business. There’s gotta be something wrong with you if you want to be in this business. I mean, hi! I definitely have my issues. I think that I can only handle one [celebrity] in the relationship, and I need to be it.”
I really wonder who that person in the biz was. We all told ourselves there was a Mickey Mousefight with Britney over Justin Timberlake, so I’m glad her explanation for not pursuing anymore high-profile boop buddies is because you have to be sick in the head to be in her line of work. That would certainly explain [insert any singer’s name]’s behavior! Of course, there’s also Christina’s humility in saying there can only be one celebrity in her relationships – and she has to be that one. Are we sure this is the same Christina or did Donald Trump decide to spend the fall in pop star drag?
