Sophie Turner Explains Crying In Public With Joe Jonas: It Was Her Period

Recently a photo was taken of Sophie Turner and her fiancé Joe Jonas while they were out and about in New York City. The picture was extremely interesting to the general public because she’s sobbing like she just found out Joe wants DNCE to perform her wedding march. Rumors went around about what caused Sophie to burst out in tears. We FINALLY have clarification!!!! UsWeekly has all the details and they can be summed up with one word: Period.

Sophie and Joe have been engaged since October last year and have had a relatively publicity-free engagement. Until now! Yay! You’re officially a real celebrity couple! This is the picture which launched a thousand gossip blog posts (including this one):

This is some emotional shit. I love a red-faced cry, that means it matters, that means it’s real. Sophie offered an extremely simple explanation for what’s going on here: menstruation. She put out the following tweet:

There were some who were unsatisfied with this explanation, suggesting Sophie was making up the period cramps and hiding a darker truth. Perhaps trouble in paradise with Joe? Maybe the thought of being a JoBro wife caused Sophie to break down in hysterics in public? Sophie was having none of it, and she clapped back:

Yes ma’am! Show this fool what pussy power is!

I totally believe Sophie’s explanation that she’s crying because of her period pains. I mean, what could Joe even do to make her sob like this? He’s a nice boy, with a nice job, a nice face, and a nice family. Where’s the problem? And of course, the most important thing about him: his A1 dick game. Only red face Joe gives you is the good kind.
