Here’s Omarosa’s Recording Of Her White House Firing

Nothing is more pleasing to one’s mind, body, and soul than when two crazies who were previously in crazy cahoots turn their crazy on each other. There’s a possibility for mutually assured destruction which would be totally glorious and proof that our world isn’t dropping into a universal sinkhole of evil. Our case in point is straight from the mixed-up files of Mrs. Omarosa Manigault-Newman.

Rumor had it that Omarosa had audio recordings from her time at the White House as the Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison. And it turns out, she does. Omarosa showed some of her receipts on Meet the Press with Chuck Todd this morning (via TMZ). Specifically, Omarosa played selections from her firing by White House Chief of Staff John Kelly. (You can listen to the whole thing below.) So if you want to hear a beleaguered man who knows he made a critical error in his career advancement tell a crazy to pack her shit, this one’s for you.

Omarosa began her “career” as a contestant on Donald Trump’s old reality show, The Apprentice. She went on to bear the dubious honor of being Trump’s very own Toofer from 30 Rock. POTUS has had some very public issues with women (“just grab her in the pussy”) and people of color (this is the man who described white supremacists as “fine” people). Omarosa could have shown the world that he’s actually a feminist champion of civil rights! (Please try and keep the laughter down.) Unfortunately, Omarosa went from being some sort of fake liaison to the black community to allegedly physically attacking journalists in the White House hallway among other weirdness. So she had to go.

Omarosa told Chuck Todd that this recording proves that she wasn’t dragged out of the White House by security at a Christmas party last year. She says that she made this recording on her cell phone as a way to protect herself.

Omarosa also says that Kelly’s firing of her contained an implied threat that her reputation would be mauled if she made a stink about being let go. Sounds like it.

You hear Kelly tell Omarosa the firing can be done one of 2 ways … the easy way or the hard way. He says if she chooses the later it will create difficulty with respect to her reputation.

Kelly also says he’s firing her because of “serious integrity violations.” He actually says more … that the violation involves “money issues” and “legal issues” that could make it ugly for her. He says she’d be subject to legal action, but that wouldn’t be necessary if she quietly exits.

Well, she exited and she went directly to Celebrity Big Brother and now this book tour so it wasn’t that quiet. Now she’s Trump’s Enemy #1. (He recently referred to her as a “lowlife” when asked about her on the golf course). Or she’d like to think so because his #1 enemy is obviously dignity. Her book about her time at the White House (Unhinged) comes out on Wednesday. The anti-“O” is also claiming she has recordings of Trump dropping the n-bomb on the set of The Apprentice which maybe she’s saving for the book launch party? But so what? There could be footage of Trump kicking tiny orphans into a huge bonfire on the White House lawn and that guy would still be president. He’s like bedbugs. You can’t get rid of them.
