Omarosa Reportedly Has Secret White House Recordings Of Donald Trump

Not long after Omarosa quit (or “quit,” depending on who you ask) her gig as Director of Communications at the White House back in December, she bragged that she would tell-all about her time at Trump’s circus. Omarosa’s book, Unhinged, is set for release this coming Tuesday, which would normally be the perfect opportunity for a “C you next Tuesday joke,” but we all know everyone involved here lacks the warmth and depth (copyright: whoever came up with that). According to several sources that spoke with The Daily Beast, Omarosa used her recordings to get a book deal.

It was rumored back in January that Omarosa had recorded confidential West Wing conversations, and that she had met with a lawyer to see if her recordings might inadvertently pull her into Robert Mueller’s ongoing investigation. That hasn’t happened yet, but apparently the recordings are real, because Omarosa has played them for people.

12 states have two-party consent laws when it comes to recording someone. Washington, D.C. is a one-party situation, which means Omarosa didn’t break any laws by recording their private conversations or playing them for an audience.

Omarosa reportedly recorded Trump with her smartphone, and that listeners have heard what is definitely Trump. The only downside is that the recordings sound about as exciting as an Ivanka Trump clearance sale. One source describes them as “everyday chatter.” Hmmm…what’s everyday chatter to Donald Trump. My guess is it’s a whole lot of Trump gushing over his best pal Putin while Omarosa checks the back of his head for visible scalp. But how did she conceal her phone so that he didn’t notice? She probably just taped a photo of Tiffany Trump to the front, because let’s face it, he’d never think to look at that.
