Carrie Underwood Announced She’s Got A Baby On The Way

Only a few days ago, the internet was pissed at Carrie Underwood after she said in an interview that her 35-year-old womb was too old to be housing a bunch more kids.

“I’m 35, so we may have missed our chance to have a big family. We always talk about adoption and about doing it when our child or children are a little older.”

As it turns out, that quote threw everyone off the scent of the truth. Carrie has actually been carrying another baby the whole time.

Carrie broke the news on Instagram earlier today with a series of videos reminding everyone of her upcoming album, Cry Pretty. She announced that she’s be going on tour in 2019 and then the camera pulled back to reveal that she’s currently expecting her second kid. Carrie also said she’s pregnant too, just in case the giant helium balloons that spell out BABY weren’t a large enough tip-off.

I can’t help but wonder if all the pink is a clue that Carrie is expecting a girl. Then again, the color choice could be redundant.

This is Carrie’s second child with her 38-year-old hockey-playing husband Mike Fisher. They share a 3-year-old son named Isaiah Michael. I am sure this news has been met with some skepticism by those die-hard Carrie truthers out there who still believe her “accident” last year was really just a diabolical cover-up for plastic surgery. I’m sure if you dive into the crazier parts of the internet, you’ll find someone who thinks this baby announcement is obviously another fake-out. And several months from now when some post-hospital pics of Carrie are released, they’ll be declaring: “There, I knew it! Look past the cute baby in her arms and into her face. She totally got a facelift. She thinks she’s so sneaky.
