Katie Holmes And Jamie Foxx Were “Spotted” Holding Hands On The Beach

Fresh off from last month’s break-up rumor, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were seen on a date together at a restaurant in NYC last month, almost as if to say, “Hello everyone, we’re still dating.” In case you didn’t hear it the first time, Katie and Jamie are here to scream: “HEY EVERYONE, look over here!

This week’s cover of UsWeekly features exclusive photos of Katie and Jamie on the beach in Malibu. What a scoop! It’s exciting for anyone who never saw the first time Katie and Jamie were “caughtfrolicking on the beach in Malibu almost a year ago. UsWeekly says that Katie and Jamie had quite the day on July 21st in Malibu.

A “beachgoer” tells UsWeekly that they played volleyball, wrestled in the sand and shared “passionate kisses.

“They were totally engaged with each other. They were never on their phones. She had this incredible smile on her face. She looked smitten. The evening ended with a toast. In between makeouts, they finished off a bottle of champagne on their blanket. Then they watched the sun set.”

The only way that could get any cheesier is if they also brought along a bluetooth speaker blasting Belinda Carlisle’s Circle in the Sand, aka the most romantic sand-based song.

Not everyone looking at those beach pics think that Katie and Jamie are shoo-ins for a remake of From Here to Eternity. According to a source that spoke with UsWeekly, some of Katie’s friends are worried that she’s with Jamie, a guy who allegedly won’t officially go steady after five years of dating.

“No one can understand why Katie loves a man who can’t seem to commit. Everyone wants Katie to take care of herself.”

I don’t know about that; I’d say that spending the whole day getting photographed on the beach in full-clothing in the middle of summer is a pretty big commitment. Although I think I understand what that source is implying. To be on the beach, with a volleyball, and not once suggest recreating the greasy, shirtless volleyball scene from Top Gun as a subtle dig at her ex-husband isn’t going all the way with it.
