Open Post: Hosted By Mary Berry Of “The Great British Bake Off” Playing Drums With Rick Astley

“Is the air laced with LSD and did I just inhale way too much of it?” is probably what many people at the Camp Bestival at Dorset’s Lulworth Estate in England thought to themselves on Friday when Rick Astley’s set got a special guest appearance by Mary Berry, one of the OG judges of The Great British Bake Off.

Earlier in the day, 52-year-old Rick tweeted that pic of him and 83-year-old Mary Berry at Camp Bestival. Who knew that Rick is friendly with the grand dame of the British baking scene, because it looks like the only thing he really eats is a protein shake made up of blended fetuses, the tears of virgins, and the blood of baby goats. That’s the only explanation for why it looks like the olds haven’t really hit his face yet. He looks like a likable and younger Robin Thicke.

Mary was there to cause the brains of festival goers to burp up a million WTFs by playing drums for Rick Astley. Here’s a clip of Mary at rehearsal:

And here’s the clip of Mary Berry changing rock ‘n roll by beating that bitch as if it was a soggy bottom cake (Side note: In case you’re wondering, Soggy Bottom Cake IS one of my Grindr usernames).

Camp Bestival had to end early because of the weather. That was Mother Nature letting the organizers know that there was no reason to go on since it peaked at Mary Berry. And what’s really making my brain burp up a million WTFs is knowing that Rick Astley has other songs besides Never Gonna Give You Up. This fucking world, I swear.
