Luann De Lesseps Has Left Rehab After Three Weeks
As those of you who cared enough to read this about last week know, Luann de Lesseps will serve absolutely no jail time for her messy arrest back in January. Because she is high-class royalty with connections in every industry in the world (AKA: a mildly well-known celebrity-type from Bravo), she was only sentenced to probation, rehab and a few measly community service hours.
Well now PageSix is telling us that Luann will be free to leave rehab and get back to the stage. After only three weeks, Luann is getting out. Andy Cohen is going to have to cancel that order of ‘Free Luann’ t-shirts. The Real Housewife took to Instagram to let all of her peasant followers know that New York’s minstrel of class and abundance would be once again taking the stage in her #CountessAndFriends cabaret show.
Lu is scheduled to perform on August 4th at the Paramount in Huntington, New York, as well as on August 24th at the Music Box Theater in Atlantic City. Nothing spells Elegance like Atlantic City. It’s like Las Vegas minus all the glamour, excitement and youth, which sounds perfect for Luann.
Although Luann escaped rehab to get back to yodelling and shimmying on stage for our entertainment/horror, according to an insider speaking with People, Luann will still “continue her out-patient treatment”.
Before she left rehab, Luann’s co-mess Bethenny Frankel commented on her well-being saying:
“This weekend, Luann was surrounded by her girlfriends and decided – with their support – that in light of recent circumstances, it is the healthiest choice for her not to attend Tuesday’s reunion taping so that she can continue in her healing process. Luann is now surrounded by a core group of people who truly have her best interests at heart and who are working to make sure she gets the help she needs.”
It’s sweet of Bethenny to wish Luann well but apparently it’s only because everybody hatesher. TMZ is reporting that while everyone knows that her and Carole Radziwill have been on icy terms for a while and that Carole was happy to leave her frenemy Frankel on the Housewives, in fact everyone else on the show hates her also. Shocking, considering this woman has been working on her personality since 2015. Three years of work and I guess Bethenny still sucks. A source told TMZ that:
“…most of the women feel she’s negative, toxic and talks trash about everyone … but they try to stay on good terms to avoid trouble. They say Frankel acts high and mighty around the rest of the cast because of her successful side hustles … but won’t acknowledge the other ladies were successful too before and after their stints as ‘Housewives’.”
Luann may soon be joining Bethenny in an image overhaul as she leaves rehab and enters into a scandal of allegedly attempting to steal money from her own children. Yikes.
Luann’s kids hate her, everyone hates Bethenny; and right before Labor Day. Who’s going to invite them to the celebratory social gatherings? I guess the only person in the world who actually likes these two is Jennifer Lawrence.
