Karlie Kloss Showed Off Her Engagement Ring On Instagram

Time for step two of Karlie Kloss’ engagement: showing off the giant diamond wedding ring! No famous-type engagement is real unless you’ve seen the ring, so Karlie let the peasants have it.

Karlie did an IG Story where she revealed her huge ring. Or as her new fiancé–Josh Kushner‘s–father-in-law would say: YUGE. Karlie was in Beijing doing fashion model things when she posted an Instagram story featuring the ring. She wrote: “My phone is blowing up with the sweetest messages from loved ones. This poor make up artist is gonna kill me.”

Karlie is a high-fashion model and Josh is a venture capitalist, so that ring was obviously going to be worth more than all of your houses. And it probably is. People described the ring as: “a high-carat cushion cut diamond in a platinum solitaire setting with a diamond pavé band.” Which leads me to believe that someone in Karlie’s camp emailed them an item description or that someone in People’s writing room desperately wants to get engaged.

Karlie and Josh just announced their engagement yesterday so they are moving fast with that ring-reveal. I mean Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin set the standard with their 24-hours-later reveal so these two had to get it out there quick. Thank god for Instagram stories. No wedding date has been set yet but if Karlie is smart then she’ll schedule it for the last show of Taylor Swift‘s Reputation Tour. I can see the drama unfolding now as Taylor screams at Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson:

“She thinks she can have her wedding on the last day of MY tour! I’ll show her! When she gets pregnant I am going to get engaged AND announce a new album AND release a book AND I’m going to throw a party which she will NOT BE INVITED TO!” You show her, Taylor!
