Donald Trump Wants To Redesign Air Force One So It’s As American As Possible

Here’s some Donald Trump news, but don’t worry: this is the least-worst Donald Trump news you can be getting. No one’s human rights are being taken away, so that automatically makes this top-5 in terms of best news stories about him.

CNN reports that Trump will likely make Americana a focus of the coming redesign of Air Force One. Trump is apparently sick of what he calls the “Jackie Kennedy color” of Air Force One. The John F. Kennedy administration is the last time Air Force One got a redesign. Trump wants to add red to the current blue and white design. They have a source who says the Donald “is deeply involved in the conversation about a redesign of the aircraft“.

Back in February, America’s current reigning regime announced a deal with Boeing to develop two new Air Force One planes. Two planes? One for him and one for his ego? Trump wants the planes to be ready for 2021–the beginning of his second term. I’m hoping they are ready by then but that he’s no longer President.

The new redesign was one of the many controversies surrounding Trump in the weeks after the election. He tweeted that the cost of the new 747 airplane was too high, threatening to cancel development:

Come on, Trump you are the worst liar. No one believes you were ever going to pay someone for their work to begin with.

Considering how fucking tacky his own home is, I can only imagine what this plane will end up looking like. The weight restrictions of aircraft design will really affect all of the gold he’ll likely use in it. Although that won’t affect the compartment on the designs labeled: “Golden Shower Room” which will be designed fully in marble.
