Lena Dunham Feels Happy And Free After Gaining 24 Pounds 

Lena Dunham, is here to give you a message on one of her favorite topics. No it’s not animal and pet care, she’s been laying low on that front for a while. And no, it’s not feminism, she’s been kind of steering clear of that lately too after calling a rape-victim a liar. Lena is here to talk about one of the very few topics of hers she hasn’t completely made herself look hypocritical on. Body positivity!

32-year-old Lena posted a side-by-side picture of herself on Instagram. One pic was when she was thinner and one is of her now, like the way magazines do but nicer. She captioned the photo detailing her struggles with weight and acceptance, and also let us know that dudes were hitting on her skinnier self all day long. Okay, Lena.

On the left: 138 pounds, complimented all day and propositioned by men and on the cover of a tabloid about diets that work. Also, sick in the tissue and in the head and subsisting only on small amounts of sugar, tons of caffeine and a purse pharmacy. On the right: 162 pounds, happy joyous & free, complimented only by people that matter for reasons that matter, subsisting on a steady flow of fun/healthy snacks and apps and entrees, strong from lifting dogs and spirits. Even this OG body positivity warrior sometimes looks at the left picture longingly, until I remember the impossible pain that brought me there and onto my proverbial knees. As I type I can feel my back fat rolling up under my shoulder blades. I lean in.

What dog is she lifting to keep in shape? Certainly not Lamby. And who the fuck is mad at a “purse pharmacy“? Sign me up. I don’t know why she’s calling herself an OG body positivity warrior. Bitch, you ain’t Richard Simmons.

Earlier this year, Lena ( underwent a full hysterectomy for endometriosis and was bedridden, so that’s probably how she gained some weight. But I’m wondering if she’s still working out with workout troll Tracy Anderson? Previously Lena has mentioned how much she loved working out and how it changed her life. Maybe Tracy couldn’t handle working with Lena, or vice versa. Tracy probably kicked Lena out of her #TAMILY and now Lena is trying to save face and avoid backlash. There’s no hiding from the #TAMILY, Lena. They’re like a worse-dressed Beyhive who drink only organic green juices.
