An Old Video Dropped Of Louis Walsh Grabbing Mel B’s Butt

Either the Time’s Up movement went on a deep dive for receipts or there are people like me whose idea of a good Saturday night is a good bottle of whiskey and commentating on Cheryl’s old X Factor outfits that just happened to stumble on some ick-tastic video. An old video from the after show of X Factor U.K. has resurfaced, and it shows one of the show’s original judges, Louis Walsh, clearly cupping Mel B’s ass and giving it a pat.

E! News says the video in question has been around since 2014, but it somehow only just got play on Twitter over the weekend. See for yourself:

I would try and say it’s taken people just under four years to recognize something was wrong because, up until now, they were just too busy trying to make out whatever it is Cheryl was saying through that Geordie accent, pet. Alas, Mel clearly was upset when she stopped the interview to ask Louis, “Why are you grabbing my butt?” Egad, indeed. Most people kind of rightfully went off talking about how necessary the #metoo movement is since everyone else on the panel laughed off Louis being a pervy old man on live TV instead of firing his ass.

Even after the ass-grabbing incident, host Sarah-Jane just tells Louis to keep his hands where they can see them. Louis has since been a pretty consistent figure on X Factor. Meanwhile, poor Dannii Minogue was never allowed to blossom into the judging swan she deserved to be, so it’s always left a bitter taste in my mouth. But back to Mel , too bad she didn’t have one of her Scary Spice platform heels on so she could slap Louis with it.
