False Alarm: Katie Holmes And Jamie Foxx Didn’t Break Up

It would appear we’re not going to see paparazzi pictures of Zac Posen running to his girl Katie’s house with ice cream and a Blu-ray of Boys on the Side, because contrary to reports from Radar, Katie Holmes isn’t drowning in break-up sorrows. Radar had claimed that Katie and Jamie Foxx were right in the middle of planning a wedding when she decided she couldn’t take his potential unfaithfulness and called their five-year secret-ish relationship off. However, Katie’s publicist is saying it’s all a lie.

Katie’s rep Leslie Sloan gave this statement to People:

“The Radar story is 100 percent untrue.”

Lest you think Leslie Sloan was just doing some obvious PR spinning, a source tells Page Six that they overhead Jamie talking about Katie to people while in Atlantic City, NJ on Thursday night. Jamie was there for the opening of the Ocean Resort Casino, and he claimed Katie would be joining him in Atlantic City soon.

The source added that Jamie was on his best behavior and wasn’t hiding that he and Katie are together. Jamie also reportedly filmed an episode of Wahlburgers on Wednesday night while in town, and he was “fending off females” that swarmed him on his way in. Which directly contradicts Radar’s story about Jamie pretending he’s not dating Katie while hitting on anything with a pulse.

However, that’s not to say Jamie hasn’t been flirty with the ladies. During the opening of the Ocean Resort Casino, Jamie reportedly approached a woman in a wheelchair, gave her a hug, and asked her how old she was. When she answered that she was 93, Jamie reportedly got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Okay, so he was obviously joking. But it’s hard to resist the charms of a 93-year-old who still loves hitting up the casino. If I was Katie, I’d be a bit suspicious when I arrived and start checking Jamie’s hotel room for wheelchair tire marks and Fixodent residue.
