Wynonna Judd’s Daughter Was Sentenced To 8 Years In Prison After Breaking Probation

You know those stories you read that make you think to yourself: “Wow, my life could be going much worse.Well, Wynonna Judd has a story for you. People reports that 22-year-old Grace Pauline Kelley, Wynonna’s daughter with first husband, Arch Kelley, has been in lock up at West Tennessee State Penitentiary serving hard time since April. Grace ended up in prison for violating the probation she was on for pleading guilty to meth charges.

In May 2017, Grace pled guilty to manufacturing, selling and delivering meth. As part of her sentencing, she was originally supposed to go straight to jail for about a year but the courts done changed their minds.  Instead, they told the girl to get her act together and gave her probation, 30 days in jail and 180 days in in-house rehab. Grace quit rehab and a warrant for her arrested was issued last November.

Grace will remain in prison until August 10, 2025. She is, however, eligible for parole way earlier in February 2019. Nobody’s spokespeople have been interested in commenting on the matter (go figure) so we aren’t sure how Wynonna’s been dealing with it. This is not the first time Grace has had trouble with the 5-0. In December 2015, she was arrested in a Walgreens parking lot, and in May 2016 she got bitch-slapped with several other meth activities but pled guilty to only possessing it.

Grace seemed to get lucky with that first sentence, but addiction is addiction, that second sentence seems extreme. This is a bucket of sad, though.  And not the good kind of sad which helps Wynonna write country songs. No new singles are coming out of this scenario, that’s for sure. You know who needs to get involved in this? Grandmama Naomi Judd! She may not be able to make everything better, but she can glam up that women’s prison waiting room with her angelic grace and thickly-lined lips.
