Brigitte Nielsen Had A Baby Girl

Approximately five seconds ago, it was reported here that Glamazon Dominatrix Goddess of the 1980’s to infinity Brigette Nielsen was pregnant with her fifth child at age 54. Well, bless her golden heart, Gitte is one celebrity that did not make us wait 10 months for a birth announcement, because baby Frida is here!

People.com reports that Gitte and her spunky Italian husband of 12 years, 39-year-old Mattia Dessi, welcomed their 5 pound 9 ounce baby girl on Friday in Los Angeles. Gitte’s first daughter joins her hot four adult sons. One of her sons is the half-brother of Brittny Gastineau. Oh, Brittny without an “E“, you were so close to being the Kim Kartrashian of our time.

Mattia is a former model who met Gitte when he was a waiter in her hotel in Lugano, Switzerland. Shortly thereafter, he appeared on one of the most important reality shows of 2005, Strange Love, the Surreal Life spin-off chronicling Gitte’s relationship with Public Enemy rapper (and prodigy pianist) Flavor Flav aka “Foofy Foofy.” Gitte and Mattia have remained together since Strange Love aired and currently live in Palm Springs.

Even though us weirdos might have wanted Foofy and Gitte to end up together, they still have nothing but love for each other, and People says Foofy was “over the moon” (someone had to say it!) over his one time ride or die.

Though the rapper, 59, tells PEOPLE that he has not seen Nielsen, 54, in over a decade, he was completely over the moon when he heard about her pregnancy with husband Mattia Dessi.

“This pregnancy at over 50, it’s amazing! It shows everybody in the world that everything and anything is possible. I was proud. I was siked to see her belly that big,” Flav says of seeing her baby announcement on social media May 30.

“I remember a long time ago I read about a 63-year-old lady that had a baby. If that lady could do it at 63 I don’t see why my friend Gitte can’t do it at 54,” he recalled about the oldest woman to give birth in 1997.

“I’m just happy for Gitte. I never took gymnastics but I was flipping when I saw that. Flipping with joy,” the father of seven shares.

I wonder if this having kids over 50 thing is going to be a new Hollywood trend, following Janet “Ms. Jackson If You’re Nasty“ Jackson and Gitte. If so, The Walking Dead becoming reality is sooner than we think with zombie Memaws and Papaws roaming the streets at all hours going insane because their babies won’t nap with them on the La-Z-Boy watching The U.S. Open.
