Tommy Lee Is Keeping The Feud With His Son Alive

June 19, 2018 / Posted by:

Over the weekend, things got messier between Tommy Lee and his son, Brandon Lee, after they got into a war of words on social media, each trying to convince the world how terrible the other is. Tommy called Brandon disrespectful, Brandon said Tommy forgot his birthday, and it really just went on. Things have been messy between them for a while now, with Brandon punching Tommy back in March and the rocker then threatening to get a restraining order against his own child. That’s an awkward Thanksgiving.  JK: I know they don’t spend holidays together.

Yesterday, Tommy decided to defuse the situation and be an responsible adult (opposite) by posting to social media a list of bills he apparently incurred from being a stand-up father to his son.

This is what Tommy posted:

Dropping a mic on your own son?  That is ice cold.

Funny. You’d think that if Tommy Lee is willing to pay for his son’s rehab he would also consider it wise to pay for family counseling?  I guess they don’t need it.  Brandon has yet to reply to this post of Tommy’s, but since he asked to “keep this private,” last time, I’m sure he will keep it that way this time (opposite).

It’s tough to be the parent who isn’t writing pleading open letters to Kanye West in order to save international fugitives and STILL come out looking like the worse parent, but Tommy is pulling it off. This is all very sloppy, it’s hard to put into words, so I think I’ll selectively quote Tommy Lee:

“I’m not gonna sit here and post some fluffed up bullshit for the public to read… Being a father ain’t easy!  I’m so tired… I’ve fucked up at times…  When I had a child… I feel like I failed as a father…  I never wanted this for my kids…  I love them dearly, don’t get me wrong, but man… Nothing can really prepare you for fatherhood.”

You right, Tommy Lee, but this public familial drama is wrong.  Headlines where you’re ‘feuding’ with your son are absolutely TACKY…unless your family name is Carrington, then it is HIGH CLASS.
