Heather Locklear Has Been Hospitalized After Threatening To Shoot Herself

Heather Locklear is the type of legend that has rightfully earned the privilege to live life like every day is Friday, and yet instead she’s been going through some dark times. According to TMZ, things just took yet another turn for the worse.

In February, Heather was arrested at her home after cops responded to a domestic fight between her and her equally-messy boyfriend Chris Heisser. Heather allegedly took her violent fists out on the cop, and she was arrested for domestic abuse and battery on a police officer. A little while later we learned that a very drunk Heather had allegedly threatened to shoot the officers that arrived at her home. A search of her house yielded no gun. Heather ended up being charged with four counts of battery, and she went to rehab.

It’s a good thing that gun was never found inside Heather’s house, because she recently threatened to use it on herself. Sources tell TMZ that Heather’s mom called 911 yesterday to report that Heather was acting erratically and threatening to look for the gun so she could hurt herself. Heather’s mom and dad were visiting at the time, and she also allegedly took out her anger on them by allegedly pulling an Amanda and choking her mom, and hitting her dad.

When authorities arrived, Heather was taken to a nearby hospital for a psych evaluation. TMZ says the incident was considered a medical one, and not a criminal one. Police sources tell TMZ that multiple units were sent to her house, due to her history.

It’s not known when Heather will be released from the hospital, or if she’ll be released to her home vs. another rehab center. But it goes without saying that someone needs to get their ass over to Heather’s house with either a weapons-sniffing dog or a metal detector to find that damn gun. And while they’re at it, maybe just hook up a phone with a direct line to both the police and paramedics.
