Jesse Williams Has A New Lady Friend
I hope Jesse Williams knows his end zone from his dugout, because his new lady friend is a professional TV sports ball news talker! Page Six reports that Jesse, 36, has been dating SportsNet New York anchor Taylor Rooks, who recently turned 26. Coincidentally, 26 years is the approximate amount of time Jesse’s ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee would probably like him to wait before he introduces Taylor to their kids (even though their custody agreement stipulates 6 months).
We don’t know how Taylor and Jesse met, but we do know they love to laugh. According to Page Six:
We hear that Williams and Rooks were spotted together at Kevin Hart’s comedy show at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ, over Memorial Day Weekend on a date.
An insider told us: “They are eager to keep their romance under wraps. He’s been going through a difficult divorce [from Aryn Drake-Lee], but he’s found solace with Taylor.”

They probably run in some of the same circles. He recently appeared on a basketsballs (What? There are two on a court, are there not?) podcast, and Taylor has her own sports podcast and YouTube show called TimeOut With Taylor Rooks.
I hope this new relationship news doesn’t enrage Ayrn because the terms of their divorce have FINALLY been settled. Jesse and Aryn have agreed to joint physical custody and have to alternate major holidays. Additionally, they have to use an app to communicate because, well, it kind of seems like they have a hard time being grown-ups. (Via The Grio):
The order also states that they are to “communicate exclusively through OurFamilyWizard,” — a website designed to facilitate communications between divorced or separated parents and can only communicate directly in case of an emergency.
Hopefully, Taylor can offer Jesse some much needed maturity.
