The Billboard Music Awards Fashions Put The “Bored” In Billboard

The Billboard Music Awards were last night and if the red carpet is any indication, it lived up to it’s name because most stars looked as bored as can be. With very few exceptions, most of the night’s looks were uninspired and devoid of whimsy. Nick Jonas (above) looks like he just showed up for his shift at Applebees and still needs to go get his flair from his locker and take a quick shot at the bar before getting started. He’ll be with you in a minute, ok?

Both Janet Jackson and her nephew Prince Michael were there and neither of them had the common decency to ask KeshaAnnie Oakley are you ok? Are you ok Annie?”. Rude! Michael would be so disappointed. Although it’s possible that they both passed Kesha on the red carpet and had a seat on her instead, thinking she was a comfy tan sofa upon which Stevie Nicks left her shawl.

Speaking of camouflage, Jennifer Lopez came dressed as a luxury car interior. I used to drive an ’89 Toyota Celica that had a very similar plush burgundy and vinyl combination on the seats and console. JLo will be fine as long as she doesn’t stay parked in the same spot for a couple of weeks with her sunroof open and end up getting her battery stolen.

In the fashion world it’s either kill or be killed, and this pinstripe dress shirt/trench coat is trying to eat Christina Aguilera alive. JLo managed to vanquish a man-eating crocodile for her look, while Xtina looks like she’s barely able to fend off a load of laundry. I bet under that belt she’s covered in single socks, dryer sheets and hot nickels.
