Katy Perry Might Be Fighting With Rihanna Now
When one feud closes, another opens! Katy Perry must have realized her American Idol check is a one-and-done kind of deal and is eventually going to have to do a duets album to get back on the Top 40 because she sent a literal olive branch to Taylor Swift, and the Butterscotch Don seemed to bite and accept the peace offering. But someone who is not thrilled to be in the presence of Katy is Rihanna, as one report would have us believe those two have been sparring since around the time Katy was canoodling with Orlando Bloom.
The Sun says Katy and Rihanna hadn’t seen each other in 18 months when they were “forced” to take a picture together on the red carpet at the Met Gala. Things took a step further when Katy wasn’t invited to RiRi’s Met Gala after-party. Ooo burn! A source spilled more tea:
“Because Rihanna was chairing the Met Gala, she had to pose with a lot of the celebrity guests but it was really uncomfortable when she was asked to have the photo with Katy.They used to be close but Rihanna’s expression in the photo says it all.Katy was upset about the whole situation because Rihanna was cold to her and she wasn’t invited to her after-party.”

I dunno if Rihanna’s look is one of being pissed off at her photo buddy, or a concentration at not having that Pope hat fall off her head, or just that she finally remembered signing up to co-chair the Met Gala meant spending hours with that insufferable fashion crowd. Nah, it’s probably totally something to do with Katy’s reconciliation with Taylor. Suddenly, the bitch is back in the Butterscotch’s Don’s good graces and she’s dressed like a Victoria’s Secret Angel-turned-Barbarella because she wants to make up on lost squad time. Show the Met Gala some respect, Katy!
