Halsey’s Rapper Boyfriend G-Eazy Got Arrested For Assault And Coke Possession In Sweden

So I think I can correctly guess what unknown substance Halsey was caught snorting on a yacht in Miami back in January. Just a hunch, but all signs are pointing to “not scratch-n-sniff stickers.” TMZ says that 23-year-old Halsey’s 28-year-old boyfriend of eight months, G-Eazy is currently in a lot of trouble. Or “besvär,” if you will. And I will, because this happened in Sweden.

Sources tell TMZ that G-Eazy was partying at a club after a show in Stockholm on Wednesday night. He was acting a little belligerent, and the club’s security guards approached him and asked him to tone it down a bit. G-Not-So-Eazy reportedly responded by striking one of the security guards in the face several times. Hmmm, I wonder what gave him the confidence and boosted hubris to think he could take on several security guards? It was probably the coke police found in his pocket when they arrived at the club to detain him.

TMZ’s sources say that G-Eazy was arrested for assault, and possession and use of narcotics, and that he was taken into custody.

G-Eazy was partying at the time with Halsey and rapper Sean Kingston. TMZ obtained footage taken during G-Eazy’s arrest by the Swedish Chef’s law enforcement cousins. G-Eazy appears to go quietly, whereas Halsey can be heard accusing one of the police officers of punching her in the face during the arrest. Is she sure it was a cop and not G-Eazy? Because it kind of sounds like his arms were operating like an inflatable car lot tube man inside the club.

G-Eazy is reportedly still in custody, so we’ll have to wait to see what happens here. I wonder if this mess with the coke and the police-punching will end up in Halsey’s rumored biopic. I hope so. I’m such a sucker for a dramatic monologue delivered behind glass through jail house visitor phones.
