Kaley Cuoco Says She Once Dumped A Famous Guy For Being A Cheap Tipper

Kaley Cuoco was on Vogue.com’s Sad Hot Girls series, and told a story about how she dumped a famous actor for being a cheapskate. We all know Kaley Cuoco has that Big Bang Theory money, so I’m sure there’s a lot of people judging her for judging someone else’s lack of tipping, but this story actually happened when she was 19 years old. Kaley calls the guy “John,” because if she said his real name, “you’d know who he is.

Kaley says that after a few cute dates, he wanted to take her to a really nice restaurant for dinner. When the bill came, he grabbed it and looked very seriously at it, which is something I personally do every time I get the bill at Red Lobster and start questioning how much crappy shrimp really costs. Kaley says he then pulled out his phone and calculated an 8% tip. They kept dating, and Kaley says that after they’d paid the bill at dinner, she’d always run back inside and give more money to the server. She also says he never tipped a driver.

She ends the story by saying: “You would DIE if I told you who this was.” Kaley may be generous with money, but apparently she doesn’t want to pay for everyone’s funerals, because she never named a name. Well, I’m not scared enough to to guess who it was.

Kaley says she was 19, which would put this story at around 2005. So that rules out the prime suspect of Henry Cavill. In 2005, Kaley dated Jaron Lowenstein of Evan and Jaron fame, but he’s not an actor. I suppose it could be someone she worked with who had a recognizable name. She was doing a lot of work for ABC and Disney around that time. Oh my god, was it Mickey Mouse? He’s a billionaire who wears the same damn shorts everyday. That seems pretty cheap if you ask me.
