Two Suspects Have Been Eliminated In The Bey-Bitegate Investigation

Actresses Sanaa Lathan and Sara Foster have both been eliminated as suspects in the Bey-Bitegate scandal. Tell me again how investigative journalism is dead? Yesterday proved that both legitimate news outlets and passionate citizen detectives are dedicating time and energy to answer the burning question of the day (ok yesterday): #whobitbeyonce? The Cut and Vulture both did a deep dive into the case that amounts to this generation’s Lindbergh kidnapping.

Tiffany Haddish gave a few prescient hints in her accounting of events. We know the Bey-biter was at Beyonce and Jay Z’s L.A. after party that night on December 21, we know it was an actress (and an audacious one at that) with whom Beyonce has had previous dealings and we know that drugs were involved. After a day of cross referencing guest lists, drug histories and levels of damn nerve, two suspects emerged. Or maybe somebody was lurking in a dark parking lot whispering “follow the Bees”. via The Cut

We don’t have a list of everyone who was invited to the after-party, but we do know that several celebrities went the concert, like Rihanna, James Franco, French Montana, Queen Latifah, and the rapper G-Eazy. Two actresses who definitely attended? Sara Foster, who came with celebrity jewelry designer Jen Meyer, and Sanaa Lathan, who sat with French Montana during the show. Just two names to consider. Thank you, Tiffany Haddish!

After the Beyhive went after Sanaa’s Instagram page and covered it with bee emojis, she tweeted that she’s not the Bey-biter, citing lack of motive.

Sara Foster also denies having bitten Bey, citing lack of opportunity.

Flattering that anyone thinks I could get this close to Beyoncé.

As for Tiffany, she may be having regrets about bringing it up in the first place because the Beyhive have resorted to swarming their own. They think Tiffany was wrong to create such a stir without her Queen’s blessing. Tiffany posted her defense to Instagram.

Meanwhile, Chrissy Teigen claims to actually know who did it after making a wrong guess yesterday.

Not only did she tweet about it, she appeared on Today this morning and told Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb (via Today):

“There was a bite…listen I think we’ve all done things, under the influence.” She added, “It’s not who I thought, I will say. The problem is, I love everybody involved so I’m like zip.”

We all know secrets don’t stay secret for long, especially with the Beyhive on the case. Now would probably be a good time for Beyonce herself to speak up and stop the madness. I suggest she draw up some NDAs and then deny it ever happened before the case is blown wide open and we find out that the Bey-biter is noted Beyhive member and Beyonce stalker Blake Lively.
