Stormy Daniels Claims That She And Her Daughter Were Threatened To Keep Quiet About Her Trump Affair

Much to Donald Trump’s chagrin, 60 Minutes aired Anderson Cooper’s much-anticipated interview with Stormy Daniels last night. The interview that Trump’s legal team reportedly tried so hard to make disappear.

There weren’t that many revelations or shocking moments during Anderson’s interview. Anderson opened the interview by asking Stormy about the time she had sex with Trump in 2006. Stormy says it happened, and once again made us reach for the Pepto by saying Trump compared her to his beautiful, smart daughter Ivanka Trump. Stormy said she spanked Trump with a magazine, although she says she was the one who initiated that. Stormy admits she signed a possibly null-and-void non-disclosure agreement a month before the 2016 Presidential election, and that she accepted $130,000 to stay quiet. But she also explains why she took the money.

Stormy says she was happy to keep quiet about their alleged affair, which she says was 100% consensual, and only happened one time (her second hotel meeting with Trump involved four hours of Shark Week and a short discussion about getting her on The Celebrity Apprentice). She has spoken out about the alleged affair before, like to InTouch for a 2011 story that never ran. Stormy’s lawyer Michael Avenatti has said previously that his client had been threatened with physical harm. According to Stormy, that’s one of the reasons why she accepted the $130,000 from Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen and signed whatever he asked her to sign. (She also excepted the hush money, because it was a way for her to get money while not having to put her daughter through a media shit storm that would happen if she told her story to a tabloid. Like the shit storm happening now.)

A few weeks after InTouch decided to kill their story in 2011, Stormy says she was cornered by a goon who told her to shut up or else.

I was in a parking lot, going to a fitness class with my infant daughter, taking, you know, the seats facing backwards in the backseat, diaper bag, you know, gettin’ all the stuff out. And a guy walked up on me and said to me, ‘Leave Trump alone. Forget the story.’ And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, ‘That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom.’ And then he was gone.”

Stormy says she didn’t report the threat to the police, because she was afraid the goon would make good on his promise. Which would also explain why she continued to deny, deny, deny the affair. Stormy says she decided to speak to Anderson to prove she’s not a cash-grabbing opportunist, and to get the truth out. Meanwhile, Michael Avenatti claims his motivations are to prove the cover-up is proof of illegal misuse of campaign funds. According to the interview, that $130,000 payment could be something brought up by Robert Mueller during his investigation.

Michael Cohen’s lawyer has already sent Stormy a cease and desist, and wants her to take back the “false and defamatory” accusation she made about Cohen being responsible for sending that threatening “thug” after her.

But what did Trump think about Stormy’s interview? You’ll be so shocked at his response:

If his goon squad can track down a side-piece in a Las Vegas parking lot, they can do anything. Like hiding behind the oval office television and faking a viewer discretion advisory voice-over before Stormy’s interview aired. “The following program features so much fake news, nonsense, and un-terrific reporting. It is rated S, for SAD.
